Carbon Chemistry T-5® is pH neutral, acid-activated bentonite clay. It is a highly effective decolorizing agent for filter organic materials. The T-5® clay help remove anthocyanin pigments. The main uses of T-5® are color removal and heavy metal remediation. T-5® activated bentonite clay is commonly used in filter beds as the bottom layer and is helpful for stopping smaller particle media from reaching the filter element. T-5® is fast-flowing and less likely to clog than other powders and help produce high clarity with used as a filter aid.
