n-Butane Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Butane Safety Data Sheet (SDS)

n-Butane is a nonpolar four-carbon alkane with the molecular formula C4H10. It is a gas at standard temperature and can be compressed to liquid for easy transport. n-Butane is a by-product of natural gas processing and petroleum refining and is commonly used in the welding industry and for instrument calibration.  Similar to isobutane and propane, n-butane is one of a group of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG).

99.5% Instrument Grade n-Butane and is ideal for instrument calibration.
