Isopropyl alcohol is a versatile cleaning agent.  For medical uses, isopropyl alcohol is used as a surface disinfectant, antiseptic, and postoperative nausea. Isopropyl alcohol can also be used in various commercial and household settings such as cleaning blinds, dry erase boards, makeup brushes, sinks and chrome, disinfecting computer mouse and keyboard, mobile phone, and cleaning jewelry.  Isopropyl alcohol is the ideal solvent for cleaning stainless steel.
